Oval Proofing Basket

An oval proofing basket handwoven from natural rattan by artisans in Indonesia, with a removable cloth liner. It supports dough as it rises for a well-shaped loaf.

Dust the rattan or liner with flour before adding dough. For wetter doughs, such as no-knead recipes, use the liner and work in a light coating of rice flour for easy release.
